Dear Editor, Cook Islands has won the bid to host the 2029 Pacific Mini Games.

Just wondering how long can Hugh Graham stay the active retired president of CISNOC? When are they going to do the financials? What are they hiding? Or is he not telling anyone so he can continue travelling the world?

How many times does Owen Lewis have to represent his daughter who is supposed to be the secretary general for CISNOC? If she isn’t capable, why does she have the job? Did Owen leave CISNOC for Education? Is he getting paid for two jobs like he did last year? How can he take time off for all these sports trips? When our parents are complaining about the education system, they want someone here working not sending email replies.

Well Owen Lewis has certainly landed on his feet … or should that read landed in another Business Class seat, for yet another useless and irrelevant trip. He was recently at the Olympic Games, as Education Secretary? Hmmm? He continues to write fruit salad drivel, most likely from the heady heights of 39,000 feet in luxury and comfort, this time telling us the public how we should respect the dedication and hard work of our teachers.

Nice accolade Mr. Lewis, pity you don’t reflect these characteristics yourself, rather than flitting off to yet another totally pointless jaunt. 

Exactly why Mr. Lewis and Mr. Graham had to be included in this delegation to Palau is a total mystery, but can probably best be explained as perks for the boys. And of course, Mr. Lewis is not really required to be in his office anymore, as his 2 IC does all the work anyway.
