As part of its preparation plan, Team Rarotonga had their smart looking uniforms blessed at the St Joseph’s Cathedral on Sunday morning by Bishop Reynaldo Bunyi Getalado.
Competing in all 25 sports codes, Team Rarotonga’s lawn bowls team hit the green this week at the Rarotonga Bowling Club. The bowling event started on Tuesday.
Over 3000 athletes, young and old representing 11 individual island teams, are gearing up to showcase their athletic abilities, sportsmanship and teamwork, representing the spirit of competition and camaraderie.
The opening ceremony kick off at 6pm this Friday at the Cook Islands National Stadium. Doors will open to the public at 5pm.
