In the premier match of the day, the top-of-the-table Tupapa Maraerenga will face off against third-placed Puaikura.

Tupapa Maraerenga has been a dominant force this season, holding an unbeaten record with 19 points from six wins and a draw. Their squad is set to be even stronger with the return of key players Grover Harmon, Paavo Mustonen, Tuffy Ngametua, and John Noovao, who have recently represented the Cook Islands in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers for Oceania.

With Tupapa having netted 22 goals and Puaikura 17 so far, fans can look forward to a thrilling encounter marked by high-paced and attacking football. Tupapa’s defence, though solid, will need to be vigilant to counter Puaikura’s attacking threats and secure another vital victory.

Tupapa Maraerenga has been impressive defensively this season, conceding just two goals while scoring 15. Their strong defensive record is complemented by a balanced team performance, making them a tough opponent. They will be looking to maintain their excellent form and push for the top spot.

Puaikura, with 12 points from four wins and two losses, has also shown considerable strength, scoring 15 goals and conceding five. This matchup is crucial as both teams vie for a higher position and aim to close the gap to league leaders Avatiu.
